Microsoft Excel is the spreadsheet application that comes as a part of Microsoft Office. It allows you to work on data in an organized way. It has been used widely to store a large amount of data. Data and information can be analyzed by using different commands and functions. It has amazing features that allow working on multiple kinds of files easily.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2016 If you work with numbers, you need to master Microsoft Excel 2016! This hands-on course will teach you dozens of shortcuts and tricks for setting up fully-formatted. Lesson 1: Introduction to Excel. The Excel 2016 Window; The Excel Ribbon; Move around an Excel Worksheet; Issue Excel Commands; Select Cells; Enter Data; Edit a Cell; Save an Excel Workbook; Close an Excel Workbook and/or Exit Excel; Lesson 2: Formulas. Create an Excel Formula; Use Excel Functions; Use Excel Formulas to Make Comparisons or Join. You will also learn Excel 2016 features, including Quick Analysis, Flash Fill, and new charting capabilities. This is not a tutorial, but an in-depth class. By the time you're done, you will be using this vital Office. In this Introduction to Microsoft Excel training class, students will create and edit basic worksheets and workbooks. This course is designed for students who want to gain the necessary skills to create, edit, format, and print basic Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft Excel 2016 is an advanced version of Excel with added features.

When opened initially, the interface of Excel 2016 appears as follows.

Here, you can see the Recent files on the Left side and the available templates on the right. You can choose the template according to the kind of information you want to store. Excel 2016 also gives you an option of search new templates online by choosing the category or you can also enter your specific category.

Once you select any template or a blank workbook, you can see the following screen. Here you can see different options stacked in the form of Ribbon and a Toolbar.

The Ribbon on the top contains different tabs which contain different commands in the form of groups under the tab headings.

If you are looking for any command, go to the related tab and select the commands.

Microsoft Excel 2016 User Guide

There is an option to even hide the Ribbon as per your requirement. On the top right corner, you will find an arrow near the minimize, maximize and close buttons. When you click on this arrow, you will get the following three options:

  1. Auto Hide Ribbon: This will help you in working in a full-screen mode by hiding the ribbon. In case you want to see the ribbon, select Expand Ribbon.
  2. Show Tabs: This will hide all the commands but the tab heads will be visible. When you click on the tab, you will find the options.
  3. Show Tabs and Commands: This will maximize the Ribbon with all the tabs and commands. This is the default option.



This proposal is for three courses that can also be sold as a combined set as we did for the 2013 versions of our Excel courses. Descriptions below for each along with link to the outline. I am working in Word 2016 and the template will not allow me to add modules to provide thecontent.
